Before Skype was using the command line “/secondary” to launch another Skype application but with the latest version of Skype, this command no longer works because Skype now uses a different command for /secondary. To run multiple Skype in your desktop:
- Create a shortcut of Skype
- Right click the properties and replace this path line
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Skype for Desktop\Skype.exe”
with the line path below
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Skype for Desktop\Skype.exe” –secondary
and that’s it.
Please make sure your Skype auto login is disable because it won’t work if your auto login is enabled.
